About the Founder
Sumitra Naren has moved from India to Holland in the year 2000, and soon after started The Indian Supperclub, cooking with hosts in various Dutch cities, to introduce refined Indian cuisine to enthusiastic Dutch diners.
Sumitra has also hosted pop-up Indian culinary events cooking with professional chefs in Zurich, Holland, India and Japan. With a consuming passion for experimenting with different food ingredients, she cooks varied cuisines, but her innate specialty is refined Indian food with which she grew up.
She also conducts Indian cookery classes as well as workshops on Ayurvedic food concepts, tea tasting & pairing. Sumitra writes articles on food and the environment for magazines & newspapers.
